At the end of the year 2009 there were 1760 licenses real estate Brokers in Clark County where Las Vegas is the county seat. There were 510 on inactive status.
Broker/Salespersons (people qualified as a broker but who serve under a broker already ) total 2742 of which 2200 are active and 542 are inactive.
There are 12880 active licensed salespersons and 2789 inactive licensees in this category.
Statewide in Nevada there are a total of 28414 licensees holding real estate licenses of which 22612 are actively licensed and 5802 are inactive or “on ice”. It is assumed that the large number of inactives has something to do with the down economy.
